What it is, why it's required, and when to complete it before you land.
eTravel is the Philippines' online arrival registration system. Registration is required for all arriving passengers — it replaced the old paper arrival/health declaration cards. You complete it online at etravel.gov.ph.
Complete your eTravel registration before you land — ideally in the days leading up to your flight, or at the latest before boarding. Trying to complete it after you've already landed, in the immigration queue, is the single most common way travelers end up stuck at the back of a slow-moving line.
Immigration staff generally expect to see your eTravel QR code or reference on arrival. Not having it completed can mean delays at the immigration counter while you fill it in on the spot — often with worse connectivity than you'd have completing it in advance at home or in the departure lounge.
